Through the fractional social franchising model and public-private partnerships, GS Kenya is leading the way in new approaches for health care providers to offer in sustainable ways high quality integrated HIV/TB prevention, care, treatment and support services. Gold Star Kenya is also contributing to improving the management of priority health conditions including maternal, neonatal, child health and adolescent health, family planning, sexual and reproductive health services as well as malaria management. Additionally, the organization is opening up opportunities to address the growing burden of non-communicable diseases.
Gold Star Kenya has played a key role in mainstreaming the private sector as a provider of comprehensive, integrated quality HIV services through strategies that build provider technical capacity, improve coordination of HIV care and treatment, enhance data management, improve quality, reduce costs and ensure accountability. Our scope of work has since grown to include Sexual reproductive health-FP and behavioural change communication in the community.
