Goldstar Kenya under the Health Communication and Marketing program (HCM) supports quality HIV services in the private sector through social franchises which include Goldstar Network, Huduma Poa and Tunza Family Health Network.

With this program, GS Kenya has contributed to the improved capacity of private-for-profit providers to offer integrated HIV Testing Services (HTS), Prevention of mother to child transmission (PMTCT), Tuberculosis prevention and treatment, Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC), Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), care and treatment interventions and improved public- private partnership that has seen a total of 115 treatment sites and 78 Technical Assistance sites (a total 193) between July and September 2019.

The focus of all sites is to improve efficiency in HIV testing so as to improve yield while reducing unnecessary tests through conducting targeted testing. Through the effort of 16 HIV Testing Services (HTS) adherence counsellors, a total of 5,974 clients were tested in the inpatient, outpatient, MCH and TB clinics across the regions, with 183 identified positives, a yield of (3.0%) and 170 clients started treatment (92. 8%). A total of 118 children were tested for HIV with 1 identifies positive and placed on treatment.
